Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals has commenced dosing patients in its global Phase 3 trial (PARA_OA_012) of injectable pentosan polysulfate sodium (Zilosul®) for knee osteoarthritis. Fifteen sites in Australia and 50 in the US have been selected, with site activation expected to ramp up by end of October. Interim analysis is planned for mid-2026, a key catalyst for the program. The trial is powered at an effect size of 0.3, providing strong confidence in detecting efficacy consistent with prior Phase 2 results.
